The WUJ County Medical Alliance Philanthropic Fund is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Charitable contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by federal law. Donations may be made by check, and we gratefully accept gifts through wills, and contributions of securities or property.
The WUJ County Medical Alliance is dedicated to promoting better health, supporting sound health legislation, and raising funds for health-related charities. In addition, we understand the unique challenges that accompany life in a medical family. When Alliance members gather for meetings, we build lifelong friendships and offer each other support. The Alliance offers opportunities to enhance your leadership skills and nourish your personal growth. Our fundraisers and events contribute to charities with programs that enhance the health and wellness of our community.
WHAT DO YOU GET FOR YOUR MEMBERSHIP?
Our membership year runs from July through June. Our monthly meetings begin in August with our welcome back kick-off. We do not meet in January, June or July. Newsletters are sent regularly. Our annual yearbook is distributed in the fall with a listing of all meetings, programs, and events, as well as a directory which includes all members and their contact information.
We also encourage our members to join the Tennessee Medical Association Alliance (TMAA). State membership is important, as the TMAA works with Tennessee legislators to support our physicians. Join other alliance members throughout the state who strive to protect the future of medicine through legislative advocacy.
